Following are some of the key points to note.

  • Ability to shoot HD videos 720p
  • Ability to shoot Full HD videos 1080p
  • Video recording at any one of the frame rate 24fps, 25fps, 30fps, 60fps
  • Lens Image Stabilization (awesome if included)
  • Lens Aperture f/1.8, f/2, f/3 (lower the value more the light entering the lens and better the quality)
  • Flip screen (this is must if you are shooting yourself)
  • 4K video recording feature (optional)
  • Time lapse feature (optional but good for vlogging)

Also note! Most of the cameras don't have a decent microphone and hence pick up a lot of noise. So, consider using an external microphone to capture better audio.
