The sum of 5 consecutive even numbers is 70. What is the product of the first and the last number?
Let the 5 consecutive even numbers be x, x+2, x+4, x+6 and x+8.
Given, x + (x+2) + (x+4) + (x+6) + (x+8) = 70
Or, x = 10
So, first number = x = 10
And the last number = x+8 = 18
Product = 10x18 = 180
Find the unit digit in (987)754
Consider only the unit digit
= (74)188 x (7)2
= (2401)188 x 49
= (1)188 x 9
Find the unit digit in the product of 123x456x789.
= 3x6x9 (taking only the unit digit)
= 2 (Unit digit)
